Delhi City Gates in 28mm?
« on: July 18, 2021, 11:27:04 AM »
Dear all,

a couple of days ago, I "accidentally" found one or two beautiful Delhi gates and wall sections, maybe of the Red Fort as well, in 28mm in the internet. Since I was looking for something else then, I forgot to bookmark the site, and now I can't find it any more! :(

Can anybody help?

Thanks and cheers,
Peter

Yes, indeed... as I have found out, the Mutineer Miniatures ranges have been taken over by Templar Wargames, and they sell the gates and wall sections!

and more...

Thank you so much!

All the best,
Peter

Nice but very pricey. But then again if you're doing Delhi do it right I guess. :)

Find someone who lives there and ask for souvenir niknaks, perhaps. I've got a few useful piece by such means - the Ishtar Gate, courtesy of the museum in Berlin and a couple of sweet German friends, a plaster Khmer temple from a street vendor in Bangkok, some Byzantine churces from souvenir shops in Ravenna, a Torii from a junk shop in Kyoto.
There are a lot of stunning buildings in Dehli. The Qutub Minar and the tomb of Humayun are a couple of the most memorable I've seen in a long life which has never passed an opportunity to check out a new structure.

The Templar version is the best commercially available option for Delhi but Tablescape do some excellent generic walls and gates:
