So one of my gaming buddies asked me to give 28mm moderns a go, and after lurking around this board, I decided to jump in.  Upon seeing tancrede's French force, I decided the Sahel conflicts is what I wanted to game, particularly Mali in the 2010's.  While I have a French force forthcoming, I've started with a band of Islamic and Tuareg insurgents:


I still have some more to paint, but am relatively happy with my start (still getting used to painting camouflage) There are more photos  on the blog if you're interested:

Thanks! I’m about out of paper textures for the BOB buildings, but once I can access agin to the large size laser printer, I should be back in business  :D
