More great figures! The bushes and other vegetation on the bases looks great, the figures seem to blend right in, which is exactly how dryads and other nature spirits should look, in my view.

The “bait and switch” tactic the dryad is using seems a bit mean spirited, though. I mean, some poor bloody infantry are out sent out in the wood on the king’s business, probably are a bit lonely, and then “oh, look, there’s a young lady, I wonder if she’s lost.” And next thing they know, they’re being mauled by forest beasts. That’s just not playing fair…

Thanks chaps. I’m glad you like the bases, I wanted them to look like they are part of the forest, growing out of the undergrowth. They’re are really fun to do as well, good job I stocked up on lots of foliage  :)

Tidy! Good job all round.

I really did enjoy painting my tree men. I think I need to get some of the other types from that range.

Careful, they’re addictive, I’m just prepping a dozen of their Sprites ;D

A 12 figure Sprite scout unit for my Dragon Rampant Fae army. Lovely sculpts from Conquest Games Myths of Albion Range.
I’m not entirely happy  with the finished look I used Contrast paints which worked well for the Tree Spirits but i’m less content with how these turned out. Hopefully the forest basing hides them somewhat. lol

For scale purposes.

I think they turned out pretty well! The basing is very effective too.

The last of my Dryads to be painted, another six figure DR unit which will give me five units of lesser war beasts in total.
Great fun to paint and I really enjoy doing the basing.
