Where do you get your ground cover from? I don't think I've ever seen those fern looking bits before.

Grasses and flowers mostly from Tajima.  The ferns are actually palm tree fronds. James from Oshiro introduced me to the idea. You just cut the trunk off. Scale wise they are teeny tiny, from The Model Tree Shop and in varying scales. Usually 1:1000 to 1:100.  Mind you they are not cheap, I tend to buy in bulk and use them sparingly on the character models..
