Thank you.  No more progress but now the football is finished maybe I'll be able to get back to them.

Thanks.

Well the Hitchwood Halfwits are complete (except a couple of the balls)

These were very fun sculpts.  Shame the curve on the positional decals doesn't actually match the bases.  I presume these were done for 25 mm rounds.  I'm going to stick with just one tree as these are my handicap team I can play with to guarantee any potential opponent a good time!  Got to get others hooked somehow.

I still have the Griff Oberwald, Varag Ghoul Chewer and the big guy ogre to paint plus the two referees.  I'm also really tempted by the necromantic horrors team (I'm thinking claret and blue for them) as they look like great sculpts with a lot of humour in them.  I particularly like the reanimated washing line for the wraiths.

I really think painting these BB minis has improved my painting and I am getting more out of the Foundry paint triads.  A wet pallet has helped in this regard as well.

Crumbled and bought the Necromantic Horrors

First test zombie

Need to do his eyes and teeth.  I've since lightened the blue a little as well.

Followed by the Ghouls

Gone with West Ham colours.  Club legends have been reanimated including the legendary Nuffle World Cup winners of 2066: Booby Gore, Moanin' Peters and Geoff Hurts.  Harry Deathcap will be their coach/necromancer.  Just don't ask what goes into the jam roly-poly they sell in the stadium snack bar.

The team are complete

Super slow worker but got there eventually

Can't wait to get them on the pitch.

Next are some Wood Elves I got for Christmas.  Might be ready by next Christmas!

Cheers Roo

Had an outing last weekend.  Just posting the casualty box to show the team tokens.  I went for a magpie/blue jay style vibe on the ravens to match the team colours.

Love your colour scheme! Blood Bowl should be bright and colourful. Very tempted by the Necromantic team. Slowly gathering them all...

Thanks.  I agree - it is fun to paint, there is loads of sports teams for inspiration and it helps ID the teams on the pitch.  They are quite addictive aren't they? The sculpts are really fun, I especially like the washing line Wraiths in the necromatic box and the halfling with a ferret down his trousers.
