1471 WotR raid - fictitious
« on: September 15, 2021, 03:54:35 PM »
Another wars of the Roses encounter from the fictitious Hamlet of Piggy Longton 1471.

Yorkist forces are raiding the hamlet, intent on disrupting the recruitment activities of the local Bishop.

An AAR is on the blog, LINK if interested.

Very enjoyable AAR with some excellent figures and scenery on show. Warms the cockles to see the venerable Airfix 'Trackside Series' Church still gracing a wargames table.

Well done and professional looking AAR. The maps are fantastic.

Thanks all.

The rules do not cover siege warfare. They have a small section on attacking a fortified camp with ditch / pallisade.
