I think my camera is up the spout as the pics don't look like the minis on my desk. Perhaps I should invest in an actual decent camera rather than damaged iPhone :-)

I think they look much better painted up, and will look fine mixed into a unit or ranked up.

Not my favorite, but I think very usable.

The battle axe Etruscans are nearly completed some detailing to complete plus the bases. Happy with the minis

They look great and strangely, once painted, the limbs don't look so skinny.

Etruscan battle axe, 3 minis table top completed. Happy with the result as a first go at these using contrast and Vallejo paints. Not the best camera so please go easy

contemplating buying the Etruscan cav as shown.   I've not been that impressed by the look of previous Agema metal cavalry so I'm wondering if anyone has these and what their thoughts are ?

I posted up my shot at Etruscans using left-over kits from various Victrix efforts.  Not 100% as these were all made from left-overs, but I think they will do the job.

I've been exploring some of this too recently, having wanted to work on the earlier Italians for some time. Below are a few test figures. The first two are hoplites (L-R) from Saleh's Ziggurat range -- most of these seem to match the Etruscans he did for Gorgon quite nicely. The third figure is a typical Gorgon figure from that range. A little softer detail in the casting but otherwise very similar in style and equipment to the first two.  On the right is an Aventine Volsci/Hill Tribe figure. These don't appear to be available currently, but likely there are some in that bunch which might be suitable as well with a shield swap.

Lovely work.       Re the Aventine Etruscans apparently they're redoing the moulds and will be available again soon.
