Coastal Terrain
« on: September 20, 2009, 09:49:34 PM »
Started making terrain for use with my Pacific WWII games.  I'll probably use this for some of my Vietnam gaming as well.  The larger pieces are mounted on CD's.  The smaller ones are mounted on tin cap disks.

The bases look great, Sqrl. Grimm, you've got competition.

Nice looking pieces. Have you thought about adding a bit of cork board shards to give you a small change in elevation? There was an article on Brigade Games Speakeasy Forum sight. I purchased a huge roll of the cork sheeting, now I just need to build the terrain. Regardless, you have a great start to your jungle. Thanks for sharing.

It's actually the Rattrap Speakeasy, but I know that with all the work I do with Brigade it's sometimes hard to tell.  :D

Thanks guys.

I've got a long ways to go for that... but thanks!

Yeah, i've done some of the cork terrain as well, based on that tutorial.  If you follow Rich's link you'll see I'm one of the folks that commented on it.  It does work great.  For this I decided to try out Milliput to make the ground level changes a little smoother and windswept looking... at least that was the thought process... execution is a different story.  ;)  Thanks for the suggestion.
