Nice work. The battering ram looks excellent.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Sorry I have not read the books. What is an Uruk hai again?
I recognise the leader figure as a GW figure, are the rest all GW too?
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Sorry I have not read the books. What is an Uruk hai again?

Elite orc soldiers, burlier and better equipped and higher morale than regular orcs.  Think it literally translates as "big orc" or "great orc" in Dark Speech.  They tend to talk a big game in the novels are but don't actually do much better in a fight than their smaller kinfolk unless they have a huge numerical advantage.  Figs all look like GW sculpts to me, meaning they're taken from the movies.  Book-faithful uruk-hai would be a little shorter and burlier than a human soldier, so bigger than fairly runty common orcs.  Jackson apparently thought it wouldn't be heroic enough for Aragorn and company to be beating up on a bunch of guys shorter than they were (as if you could tell given his camera work in fights) so the movies super-sized them.
