A bit of Rogue Trading
« on: September 27, 2021, 12:04:12 PM »
Slowly adding to my OG 40k collection.
The ork was pretty battered so needed a fair bit of 'paint fixin'' but the Eldar was still as crisp as he ever was and it was fun to revisit my original 1988 colour scheme on this pirate :)

I think perhaps some Marines next or an old-skool dreadnought.

That's awesome. The colour usage is almost like oil painting, how many hours did you put in to each one?

Thanks everyone. I have to fit painting around family etc. and time is a bit limited at the moment. My unwritten rule is maximum two ‘sittings’ per figure (otherwise I tend to lose interest and move on). I’d say on average it’s around 3-4 hours per figure, the Ork perhaps six in two sessions.
