Guards Brigade - British at Busaco 1810
« on: 16 October 2021, 04:34:43 AM »
G'day all,

Apologies to those of you (probably everyone for all I know) who will be seeing this on Facebook. For those of you not committed to the great corruption, please find attached links you can follow to my latest blog postings - my long-lost but finally finished Coldstream and Scots Guards battalions. I hope they may prove of some use to someone. Let's hope when the time (game) comes, they make themselves of use to me.

Very, very nice!
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Well done, lad!  Both the quality of the figures, and the time in which you finished them.  I don't exactly set any speed records in tackling my painting queue, so I'm duly impressed!

Wow. Excellent stuff.  :)

I can't quite believe you drill out the barrel ends (how?). The diced lace on the drummer is really impressive.

Thank you for sharing.

PS Thank you for sharing here for those of us deliberately not using Facebook (e.g. BBC story today: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-58924168).
