What banners would they have flown? Did they have their own banner? (I can't seem to find a reference to it, except maybe the Cross of St. George)

Or would they have flown the banners of whoever had hired them?

And a question about banners in general: if the condottierri had their own banners would they also fly the banners of the city they were employed by, sort of like how British battalions fly the King's/Queen's flag alongside the regimental flag?
