That giant looks great. I would give him a wash to make him look filthy.

Nice work on that giant, the shields ties it together with the human infantry.

Still impressed by the tartans.

Now that the giant is done I’ve continued with the archers… two ranks done and I need one more to finish the unit. I’ll probably move to the cavalry I’m missing to wrap up the list and then it’s decision time… but I’m leaning into continue with the humans even if some orcs and goblins get in the way :P

The army is simply too gorgeous to abandon for some greenskins; I'd say carry on with these lads!

The archers are great additions again  8)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

It's Oathmark, the humans and greenskins can be in the same army unlike several other games

I especially liked the illustration of the Orc-Human army attacking the dwarfs in the rulebook: I am going to team my orcs with some "historical" vikings for a similar look. Now I need an Oathmark compatible longboat.

So I assembled some orc/goblin troops and did some conversions and a shaman sculpt for the orcs. The Shaman was inspired in a GW mini, but the idea was to adapt the proportions to the Oathmark orcs.

BTW WGA also released a longboat in digital form.

Those orcs look great, I like the variety you have achieved with the conversions! I’m very much looking forward to seeing more (and these ones painted).

I discovered that I left this thread without updates for a while… I’ve finished my 2000 points human army list for Oathmark. As this is the army I’ve been more enthusiastic I have more stuff for it but it’s a good milestone.

So this are the two final units. Finally the archer unit is completed with 15 archers. Next is a cavalry unit. I need to test if it’s more convenient to have two 5-strong cavalry units or a single 10-strong unit. Same cost in points so we will see after some games.

On de Oathmark Discord server someone mentioned mounted Wizards… and I didn’t have one, so I kitbashed one. Next post I ‘ll upload the army pics.

Excellent work on the archers and cavalry, they look great! The varied plaids  add a lot of visual interest. That wizard kitbash is also great, I’m looking forward to seeing him painted. Just curious where the giant bird skull on his staff came from- I don’t think I have seen any of those before.

The bird skull is from the GW skull set. It has a lot of variety and it’s hard plastic.

Thanks for the information. That’s a cool way to use one of the skulls.

Lovely conversion work on the orcs and the wizard. I like the orcs riding horses too...never seen that before, looking forward to seeing them painted.
