Here's my painted Avians by CP Models, or Sci-fi chickens as I like to call them!

They are cool figures and pretty easy to paint. I wouldn't have minded some different weapons but they make a great sci-fi warband.

Cool, I like them.

Can you post pics of your other warbands?

The next lot of terrain completed is my gangplanks. I painted them in a similar shade of grey to the platforms so they would match.

I didn't measure them when I made them, but they fit very well in with my thinner platforms and the larger gangplank is almost the same height.

I made a some objective markers for games. They are from the Stargrave nicstarter and Dungeons and Lasers scifi set. I mounted them on plasticard bases to match my platforms and they came out very well.

Here's the robots I previewed on pg 13 of this thread finished.

I was experimenting on them a bit with the colour schemes, in particular the yellow/green one, where I sprayed it aluminum colour and used Tamiya clear paints over the top. It looks pretty good but I think another highlight would help. I'll try this technique on some more figures and I brought the rest of the Tamiya clear range to experiment with.

I like the Tamiya clear colours. When they first came to my notice a friend painted
up some Zulu War British using the red over a matt white base. Truly spectacular!
Mind you it helped that he is a genius with the paint. Andy Taylor take a bow.

I had some years ago and kind of forgot about them, especially with washes and contrast paints getting so much attention now days. I think the Tamiya clear colours are still a great and I plan to use them again more.

My next band of figures is some classic 25mm Grenadier Future Warriors Troopers. Lovely figures which I think were sculpted by Mark Copplestone and they go well with a lot of todays sc-ifi figures, except the larger scaled 40K stuff.

I'm using them in P28 as a group of Space Cops or New Order Enforcers in Mutants and Death Ray Guns

I was meant to put number decals on the yellow discs, but you can see I missed a few!

An old figure from the "Spacelord" range owned by EM4 Miniatures now, which I think is the Space Crews Security officer. It goes very well with the Grenadier figures.

And a Stargrave plastic crew figure at the back which again makes well with the Grenadier figures

Those have come up very nicely. I do like your colour scheme on them.
