I still get Union news from my time in a related industry, I don't think the Royal Mail dispute is going away any time soon to be honest.

I am a Union steward, you are probably right, but the recent one for sure. I'll do the best I can, pretty flat out at the moment with work which can be stressful. Union wise, local authorities (UK) are being asked to cut more money from budgets, nothing new there, been the same over the last 12+ years.

Hi folks, apologies, I have been off work sick and unable to even get out of the house. Just some sort of really heavy chest infection. In fact, I didn't really get out of bed much for 5 days. I will try to get this out before Christmas.

I wouldn’t worry about, getting yourself well is the first priority & I personally think it would probably be better to wait till after the holidays anyway.

So get yer feet up and hope you get well soon

I tend to agree with waiting to the New Year, though I do miss my box of bits. With Xmas and "other" issues, new year just feels right.

Gives me more time to build up stuff (ebayed away a fair amount).

Get yourself straight before you do anything, that's more important than a box of plastic crack.

You are more important than a box.

Get well,

Get Christmas out of the way and hopefully enjoyed.

We all likely will have plenty other things to distract over the period anyway, so it will be much more fun to have it turning up at some point in the new year.

Yeah, those take it out of you. Take care.

Although, just fyi, at the moment the Royal Mail are doing free doorstep pickup of parcels when you buy postage online. It's to sort of compensate for the horrific service they're offering at the moment.

Quiet on here, isn't it?.

Is this likely to be restarted soon, as I believe we were awaiting the PO getting it's act together, and the passing of the Christmas period (this is not a complaint, just a query - I know McFonz said he had health issues).

I'm ready to go, and miss my box of delights.

Just had a PM from McFonz, looking like we might be getting back to this on the near future

I believe I still have Tyrion's address, so I'm set

Your address correct as I have it?
