I hope I don't derail this thread with my question but is something like this exchange also existing at other countries (in my case probably Germany or EU)?

There was. If memory serves me right a number of issues combined that caused for the EU end to fold. One of the EU members got the parcel then went AWOL with it, never to be heard from again, along with the parcel. I think at that point we actually had two boxes circulating as it could take a year for the box to do a single round.

Then Brexit happened and it made it a bit economically pointless to send a parcel backwards and forwards. So there was going to be two circuits. One mainland and one UK. I think this is when we had issues with a parcel going missing in the EU and that arm reducing to only a handful of folks at best.

It might be worth getting one going again.

Also, re this thread, it's worth starting a new thread for the next round and asking @OSHIROmodels to pin it and then unpin this one so it's all nice and fresh looking with a list on the front page that can be edited to keep everyone in the loop.

That is correct, yes. There were two EU boxes, and they both went missing along with their recipient within the first couple of people.

But yeah there were also never all that many Europeans who wanted in anyway. Hoarding piles of random bits and pieces of wargaming tat must be a curiously british thing.
