Impressive, both their artistry & yours.
One day I will treat myself to some of their castings.

I love their buildings.  Fortunately, so does aardtacha, so neither of us complains when the other indulges in the occasional binge purchase.

Things drop out of their catalog, though - sometimes within a year or so.  So if you see a particular piece you really, really like, it might be worth taking the plunge sooner rather than later.

Beautifully painted and sculpted. Tabletop World are new to me and I can already foresee a  Christmas present list being carefully constructed :-*

@Grumpy Gnome: Cheers, much obliged!

@OSHIROmodels: Thank you, Sir!

@has.been: Absolutely. If you're looking for fantasy/medieval buildings with an interior they're the best around.

@discok3: Oh yes, they are. :D

@mweaver: Sounds like a good arrangement! I absolutely agree about buying sooner rather than later thing. As I understand it they're just tearing through molds (quite literally I'm sure). Maybe it's also a way of raise the exclusivity of their buildings. I just wish they did more regular houses rather than the 17th graveyard. :D

@levied troop: Thank you! They're really good.

@Bloggard: Cheers!

Thanks for the comments so far! Here's some interior shots and some more info on this big ruined building:

Time for round 2!

Interior shots of the ruined Merchant's Store:

About the ruin: A friend of the gentleman for whom I painted these buildings has taken over the ruining of the Merchant's Store. This friend is an insanely competent model builder; I've admired his tables several times at various events. I don't think we've ever played anything, but I'm sure we will at some point. Anyway, he did a great job of ruining it. All I did was sticking a rat and some rubble in here and there, where it just makes sense.  The thing is, the way the house collapsed, it makes very little sense that rubble would be lying inside. Instead, I made three rubble bases that fit in specific places on the house. Two fit right at the front and the broken corner in the back, the third can basically be used flexibly.

I also damaged the ladder to the attic a bit and mounted it crooked, and had to come up with something for the steps up to the 3rd floor. They're of an interesting design, so I made them look like they were broken off in a way that made sense to me (involving some balsa wood and so on), and then just built a piece of the stairs into the matching rubble pile as well.

The shutters are crooked and will break off 200 times in the next years, but they can easily be glued back together. The sign at the back of the house is also only hanging halfway on the pole, but it is surprisingly sturdy. Last but not least, I have to note that these are basically models for playing (Mordheim). That's why there are no pieces of furniture glued inside (further down at the intact Merchant's Store everything is just placed inside for the photos), so that you can move the figures around. That's also the reason why the shutters are all open: so that a villain can keep his jezzail out. The doors are all movable as well.

Yep, I think that's it as far as details and info are concerned. As always: These Tabletop World kits are great, no doubt. Large, it's easy to place and move figures inside, technically top class, good handmade textures, all around great.

If you want to read this in more detail, here is my review of a TTW house and a blogpost about another insanely large model from TTW: https://www.battlebrushstudios.com/search?q=tabletop+world

Right, let's move on to the other buildings in that batch. First: Two ruined town buildings. There are some subtle differences (I took the dremel to one of them to make it look at least a little different), but I also painted them in a different fashion: One suffered a direct fireball hit (or maybe an alchemist's experiment gone awry in the upper floors), the other one collapsed by other means. Maybe it got in the way of a Nightgobbo Fanatic.

And here's the intact (and huge) Merchant's Store. Originally the same model as the destroed one above.
