Tom, a good start.

Is this just one coat of contrast?
If so, then it's certainly a range worth having.

Cheers

yeah that's just 1 coat. I still want to dry brush them to get them to pop a little more but the contrast does a great job to cover the basics and get them to that point.

Neat!  Which colors did you use, and were you applying them to a white basecoat, or tan basecoat?

I used army painter white as the primer. after that
1 Gillian flesh
2 aggros dunes for the gaiters and jacket
3 militarium green for the helmets and pants
4 snakebite leather for boots and wooden rifles
5 space Wolfs grey for any metal bits

looking good indeed. I paint all my Vietnam War miniatures with Contrast paints as well. I really like them. Have to try the Space wolf grey on weapons , that looks really good.

I see that Army Painter is coming out with their own line of contrast paints next year. I can't wait to mix and match with the Citadel.

These look great!

I did my GI's in Contrast as well, and am very happy with the results.  Especially the speed at which you can get through a unit.
