A 28mm Prussian Brigade for 1813, completed at last!
« on: October 30, 2021, 03:18:31 PM »

A couple of hard weeks painting and I'm off to a pretty good start with my 1813 Prussian infantry brigade. Perry's for the Regulars, Wargames Atlantic for the Reserves and Warlord for the (as yet to be finished) Landwehr. Some cavalry and artillery to follow.  https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2021/10/what-i-found-down-that-rabbit-hole.html

Very nice. My own late war Prussians are 18mm AB in units half the size of yours.

May you roll sixes when they hit the table.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

And may you ever roll sixes too!

I built this same formation years ago in 15mm using the second generation Minifigs, in my seventh decade it seemed like it would be fun to do again in a scale that I can still see. The AB figures are beautiful, I wish that they had been around when I was building my first set of Napoleonic armies. Now I can just manage a decent paint job on 28mmm figs.

Thanks to stellar service from Old Glory I got my guns and gunners in time to beat my deadline. I even had time to make sabot bases for the guns and crew. More here:   https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2021/11/et-finis-just-under-wire-i-get-my.html
