Agis' "true scale" Marines

True Scale rework - What are true scale Space Marines? Well there is no scale in 30K or 40K, we do have a creep on minis size however. And over the years Human mini sculpts got bigger and bigger and somehow the Space Marines looked to small and out of scale. In addition before the Primaris sculpts most SM sculpts had very bad and anatomically impossible sculpts and poses.

In reaction the mini community did a lot of conversions, GW reacted with the Primaris Marines, a true blessing IMO. But what about 30K?

Recently I stumbled over some TS 30K Marines on etsy (just search for True Scale Marines). Out of curiosity I ordered some bodies and - OMG - I was blown away! Crisp cast (or print, you really can’t tell) and very fitting to the rest of normal Space Marines parts. I ripped one of my TS Marines apart, painted the body in TS colours and reattached everything. Voila, true scale 30K TS!

Your painting is amazing, as ever.

I don't buy in to "true scale" marines, though. They were never supposed to be that big. Their background has been ret-conned.
