The battle seen from the Timurid lines went well.
The Black Sheep Turks held the Cumans in a duel of the horse archers and then 2 heavy cavalry units detached from the centre saw them off, causing a brief disorganisation of the packed Russian ranks.
On the centre and right the air was thick with arrows as every unit had a bow which saw the skirmish cavalry from both sides driven in, however once the Golden Horde had lost the cover of it's skirmishers it's inferior numbers (and class) told against it and once one unit had routed it didn't take long for it's centre and left to collapse.
The Russian cavalry did manage to get going but despite pushing off the Turks and supporting heavy cavalry they were too late to make a difference - time to go for independence
