20mm ruin: old project
« on: September 26, 2009, 11:07:17 AM »
it is a 20mm (yes, not 15mm lol) ruin base that I made some times ago, ordered by a site that after half work cancelled what he said to me (it is tstmodellismo, avoid it!).
well... i've seen that tere's a lot of people that are into 20mm, so it would be nice to know if someone is interested on makin me finishing this stuff..

geez the previous sentence was terrible! sorry!  :D :D

it is approx 13x10 cm, and it is completely 20mm, not for 28 or for 15...

cheers,
Jack

I´m a big fan of 20mm miniatures.
But i always thought this is the LEAD adventure forum not the plastic one. ;)
So please finish the project.

20mm doesn't have to be plastic, MadMö.  Lots of very ncie 20mm lead out there!

wait I'm a bit confused... lead scenics? does they exist? of course it's plastic, otherwise they'll be extremely heavy!!! :)

the point is that it is a dropped project, not a WIP... that's why it's here and not in the workbrench!

that's resin... but it seems that for some people plastic and resin is the same... and actually it's true, cause poliurethane resin is pretty similar to plastic... is still a polymer of something made of C, O, H and stuff like that... :P

anyway, can you reformulate the question? maybe it's my poor english the problem  :` :`

you asked for help or advice to finish the project
the scenery in the picture looks very finished

is there a misunderstanding?

or what do You mean by finish?

well... that's a base of a ruin, but the ruin is still bissing, don't you think so? :P

i mean I have to make the two walls..... :) without them it is a bit... useless...  :D

the point is that now I'm working on 15mm, and splitting my (few) energies should be not the best way to finishing stuff... :)

I think that base looks great and also finished... a useful piece of terrain.

Did you sculpt it?  I think it could be adapted for 15mm pretty easily ( remove the wheel and fill the track in).

Good stuff  ;D

oh, I see
make 2-3 generic pieces of wall (corner, T-section, straight)
there is not such a big difference between 20 and 15mm in scenery
you can use them otherwise

the base is good enough as it is

why are you always pointing out being so young?

are you twelve?  ;)

no, I'm 19, but in the last forum where I've been i was the youngest, and the second one was 33, or something like that... :P I'm pretty used to be the younger everywhere in models forums!  lol lol
