I'm working on a large Rennaissance project at the moment. I'm assembling six different armies to use with Neil Thomas' One Hour Wargames rules.
I'm planning to end up with Landsknechts, Conquistadores Aztecs, Elizabethan sea dogs, Border Reivers and Ottoman Turks.
I've started with the Landsknechts. Here are the first miniatures, four infantry units, the maximum I'll need. Miniatures are all Artizan.

Each army has ten units, from which six are randomly drawn to form armies for the scenario being played. So, not a massive undertaking but still substantial.
More about my plans, and lots of photos on the project page here:

Looking good. A nice manageable scale of a project.

They look splendid! I like what you are doing basing wise.

Irregular Wars is a good set of rules, and should cross over nicely force size wise. You will need 1 more figure to make an Irregular Wars army from the OHW ones - and that is a leader. He attaches to a single unit in IW, but it is important to know where he is.

Nice, as are all your projects.
I do admire your ability to plan AND finish things.

Echo all of the last sentiments.  Great job but it’s the planning and ability to finish what you start that is equally impressive

I'll almost certainly paint some leaders, I like to have them on the table even if they don't do anything.

Cool. Did wonder if I was just throwing an idea in the pot after you had finished  lol

Two units of swordsmen complete the Landsknecht foot. Now on to the cavalry.

Looks great Paul. I am not a huge fan of multibases, but still a huge fan of your project. Which rules do you use? Own creation???

No, they're from Casting Room miniatures (Foundry).
