Russian infantry and supports
« on: December 08, 2021, 01:33:00 AM »
More on my ongoing project to record my 20mm Second World War collection. This is a look at Russian infantry and some of their support options. There's a particular focus on Chain of Command but really it's just an excuse to roll out the collection. Most figures are from AB with a smattering from PSC and SHQ. Lots more on the blog here: https://thetacticalpainter.blogspot.com/2021/12/second-world-war-russian-infantry-in.html

Very good!
But let me give you one piece of advice. Over their shoulders, Russian soldiers usually wore an overcoat rolled into a roll. The overcoat was made of unpainted cloth and had a color ranging from light gray to brown. However, they could also wear a khaki raincoat, but this was much less common. This can add some variety to your figures.

Lovely job, the NCO in photo 2 is a classic pose, is that an AB figure?

Nice looking figs, there.  They oughta give the Germans a run for their money!  Well done!
