Those are really well done.  I always felt the Sigilist models were a bit meh but these really ping.  Well done indeed.

Beautiful work on the nuns! Your photography and the background really works, too.

Nah, I've always been pretty shit with the camera. Ilways a hurry to get the photos out so I've never taken the time to master the technique.

Re: Hammers' and sons venture into Fallgrave and Oathmark: more elves

These elves, as mentioned before, have been laying about in a box, getting scuffed and generally mistreated. The basic paintjob was however not bad (I am quite pleased with the sickle moons) and Mark Copplestone minis are so painter friendly that Iall I had to do was some touching up and minor completions.

A detail of the bannerman for the Sable Haired Moon Goddess

The mood board for the above. Again, the sketches are quite quick and rough; just something I do to get an idea of proportions and layout.

Some details of the freehand banner. She looks a bit like she is holding a big banana, doesn't she? Oh, well... Painting free hand banners is a bit of jumping down the rabbit hole, isn't it. It will have to do as I have other things get on with.

It's good to see this part of the Hammers Cinematic Universe is still going strong.  :)

This, my only cavalry unit, concludes my efforts to restore these miniatures from the their wallowing in the lead pit. The horses, quite tiny, pony-like and ill-used, were, I shall not lie, a bother. Other than that these were a joy to paint (as they are Copplestone).

The horses are painted dapple grey. An unwise decision, prerhaps, as not much hide is visible behind saddlery, blankets, tufts, bells and elves.

Banner of the Constellations:

Captain:

Knighth:

Mood board.

The basic tone is the blueish black of the deep aether. I flicked heavily dilluted off-white paint across shields and banner, and filled in a few stars on top of that. The livery and horse are adorned with a single eight-pointed star, done with the pointy tip of a fine pencil.
