loupes - information please
« on: December 16, 2021, 09:21:21 AM »
surgical or dental; whatever they are called - i did a search and came up null.

i want something better than optivisor of tamiya.

any recommendation?

about "3x" would be good; currents (above) are 2.5x so i might like to go a little stronger.

thanks

For hobby use loupes tend to be single lenses (I have one attached to my optivisor for when I need more detail). The medical grade ones may well require a second mortgage on your part :(

Optivisors come with different magnifications, and there are other hobby magnifiers out there that come with multiple lenses, eg this one on amazon

What is wrong with your Optivisor? Is it just magnification, or something more?
