Hello again all,
Here's another team.
Everyone's favourite the team from firefly. Minis are GZG. Lovely sculpts & full of character.
Thanks for your comments

Thank You, for the information Z.

Your firefly crew turned out great! I really should get around to the set I have.

Welcome WM
I would also recommend these spray cans. Very good for base coats & cheap to boot also.

Thanks WM.
Ral partha mercs ex.critical mass (i think ). They're
true 15mm so on the small side. Nowadays i prefer 18mm
like GZG, much friendlier on the eyes ;)

Agree with the heroic 15mm scale. Before I sculpted all of my own figures (which are probably heroic 18mm as I'm not great at sticking to a particular scale and just eyeball the outcome), I would be bummed out by getting thin little "true" 15mm scale figures. I like the smaller size, but when the proportions are too dainty I struggle with painting. Happens on really busy 28mm figures too.

Thank you  :)
Same here , I find it difficult to sculpt to scale....

Here's another one....

15/18mm Scifi Home Away Team - Section 5

This time cyberpunk minis from Khurasan. True 15mm with lovely insane detail.
First time I painted rosy cheeks & lipstick on this scale.

Thanks for your comments.

I like that fine mesh. What is the source? Much thinner than granny grating (which is garbage to work with anyway). Spackle tape? Looks "thicker" than the stuff I have, but maybe it is the scale of it with the 15mm figures that make it look that way.

Bought from the ironmongers, we call it mosquito netting, grey plastic similar to spackle tape but around 1.5 m wide
Squares are some 1.5 to 2mm wide.
Old stuff crumbles with UV making for more interesting shapes ....

Granny grating is unobtainable here , as far as I have looked.

Just wanted to share the mini that inspired the first team.
From 1977 ( I think I bought it in 1980 & true 25mm ) & still as good as new ... shows the quality mix of the metals.
I've have ( had ) pre slotta ( priceless for me ) GW minis which simply crumpled away due to ( I would think ) the amount of lead in them.
I did not undercoat them unfortunately & they where stored in boxes though I had a couple which were painted/sealed & still crumpled  :-[ :(
So if you have pre slotta GW minis be aware that this might happen.

Here's another team.
Honest Xylock - Purveyor of Exotic goods
All minis are old Alternative armies ( had them since the late 80's (?) finally finished them )
Xylock, he's the one in the multi coloured cloak. 2 bodyguards ( big green heads ) , 2 robots , the yellow/black striped blue visor powered armour ( he originally had 3 arms ) and the shape shifting naked man / gorilla .

My favourite is the ape & will make an excellent addition to a safari scenario....
