and a host of nicely painted Hinterland Hussars), while the Communists introduced Red Cavalry, new products from the Presteigne Motor Works, etc. etc.

Great to catch up on the campaign. Quite excellent stuff as usual. The blog commentary, the games, the photos. Lovely stuff. Well done chaps on keeping up the high standard of this exemplary campaign.

Despite his absence, Sir Gilbert is keeping a close watch over proceedings.

Roo - I have now relocated even further from the seat of action; I’m now in Darkest Dorset, a strange and wily place, peopled by secretive folk barely on the edge of civilisation. So a trip up for the 10th anniversary may be problematic - is a date fixed yet?

Moriarty chap, no buy in beyond I’ll be there….plenty of troops about in collections if you need them, just let us know a favoured faction based on the scenario and we can help out if you don’t have them yourself (we are pretty accommodating fellows). We play ‘Went the Day Well’ rules with a few tweaks….it’s the I’ll be there that is most important.

blog has plenty of content

Too kind, sir! Happy to bring down troops - are we looking at squad or platoon? I can supply Cultists, Civilians and Nuns at squad level in 28mm - I assume this is an appropriate scale? Would paint to suit scenario/faction with enough lead time. The main stumbling block would be dates, which are obviously up in the air atm.

Will see my way to shooting off a PM to the relevant bods

Moriarty, replied to your PM before I read this. We're looking at a Platoon organised to
WTDW rules - the present "Platoon Generator" (which I don't think will change for the
next Big Game) is on the blog at:

Nuns, civilians and cultists could well make up a fun Anglican Force, if you're so minded,
and make you an ally of the Bishop of Lichfield, clear winner of the last Big Game ("Advance
to Leominster") with a resultant (as yet unspecified) "advantage" for the next Big Game
("Assault on Leominster")!!

Will keep you posted on exact dates in due course.

Thanks for that! I can manage a platoon organisation, no problem. Will post the pictures as I finish the figures :-) I’ll leave it to the organiser/s to sort out the faction.
