While browsing some of my old stuff I found a Doctor Who skirmish scenario in an old Wargames Illustrated magazine which seemed perfect for a lockdown holiday game I promised my son.

The scenario has a team of Containment troopers investigate a UNIT depot where unkown things are stored. All contact was lost and the Containment team must expect the presence of hostile elements inside the depot.

Containment squad accompanied by scientific advisor Dr. Doofenschmirtz prepares to enter the Lab:


Robomen (I don't have the Dalek miniatures the scenario requires so I improvised) making their way under intense fire towards their objective (the communications building):


The robomen managed to send a message to their buddies before being blown to bits by a gunship:

After alerting a Robomen strike force in our Containment game part 1, the valiant UNIT defenders stopped the Robomen invasion in our second Containment game.

UNIT and Robomen forces advance towards each other:


Dr Doofenschmirtz brought his Enator:


But it was Chuck Norris (a valued member of UNIT) who made the difference by single handedly wiping out an entire squad of Robomen:


And of course the liberal use of UNIT air-to-ground missiles:

Agreed, that looks positively wonderful. The best way to spend some lockdown moments with your son!
