BSC2022 - OSHIROmodels - A good nights rest - First wip pg 2
« on: January 05, 2022, 06:32:15 PM »
I’ve been wanting to do a coaching inn for a while now and this seems like a good excuse to finally get round to it.

It should fit from ECW up later 19th century.

Thanks all.

It’s a simple idea but hopefully a useful one. This time I’ll find a suitable box to store it in first so I don’t get carried away  lol

So, all inn then...  lol

Ah, excellent! I was thinking of a small coach house/inn as well so I will be following this particular entry with extra interest.

I have a plan.

Of sorts.

Base is 300x340 and it will fit in an 18ltr RUB with 170mm or so for height which should be plenty although the chimneys might have to be removable.

Will be going for a mix of building materials, stone, brick and half timbering and it’s loosely based on the The George Inn in Norton St Philip.

I made an amateurish effort at making one ages ago (called 'The Lazy Fox Inn') by slightly altering a plan that had appeared in WI. Not that you need such help from the likes of me, but I think I still have the plans I used somewhere if you'd enjoy laughing at my incompetence.
