Sounds delicious whatever it is...  lol

See: https://plaidonline.com/brands/mod-podge

Apparently, it can even be used to make decals - not tried that yet... this being the idea see: https://plaidonline.com/brands/mod-podge/mod-podge-image-and-photo-transfer/how-to-use-mod-podge-photo-transfer

Thanks for that. I feel sure I've seen
it in our local Craftworld store. I'll
double check on my next visit.

A friend has done something similar
to the transfer thing, for posters on
the side of buildings. I must give it
a try. First though I'll have to master
how to REVERSE the image, so the
words work in the final view. lol

It does help that I haven't done any:-
planning,
careful measuring or
ages looking through the vast stock of 'interesting
bits & pieces'  lol lol lol

Also the craft is a bit like the Sheriff's own built house
in the wonderful film Unforgiven,
'Not a straight line anywhere'
It should, & will be, looking like it is
held together through force of habit & dirt.
 ;) ;) ;)

More pictures taken, but as it is of undercoating
and rust effect, I don't think I'm allowed to show
them yet.
Hampered by typical British weather...It is raining! :-[
SHOULD get it 'finished' in time. Wouldn't mind the
(possible?) week extension though. Could (as Golgotha
suggested)do the staff/owner and some of the food.

Good luck to all contenders. :)

With the extended deadline I have been working on
The Junks Owner/captain/crew & chief bottle washer,
'Wolfgang Maier'  thanks to

When we went on exercise (no matter how secret) the Bratty Van (or "Blue Van") always appeared!
The tea van frequented the Soltau military training area in Germany. The owner, Wolfgang Maier was renowned for turning up in the wettest miserable places with hot food and drinks, and of course the yellow handbags (If you know…). He was seen as the life saver to many a wet cold and hungry soldier.

I figure the 'craft' will be called the BRA-TEA in his honour. :D
I can't show the finished version, but here is the work in progress.

Do like the new addition of 'Wolfgang Maier'. He certainly looks the part one can imagine a great back story about how he maybe had his arms blown off in some conflict.

He looks scary, but he's 'armless.
There is a line in Starship Trooper
when the recruiter (with multiple
replacement limbs) says, 'The
Mobile Infantry made me the
man I am today'.

Classic :)

Neat project, always liked that scene in Fifth Element with the 'fly up delivery' food junk :)
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Me too, but there was quite a lot I liked about that film.

Has a touch of “blade runner” about it……probably serving “rat on a stick” or some such delicacy…

In a Sylvester Stallone Sci-Fi movie (he is a Cop who had been cryogenically frozen,
desperate for some meat he finds an illegal burger dealer in the sewers.
While he is tucking in the modern cop says, ' Look around Detective, do you see
any cows down here?'   lol lol lol
