Yes, that's a very handy table.

I'm painting my monsters by the blisterpackful.  But for folks who are going minimalist, you may want an extra wandering monster of the ones in the middle of the chart.
 
Getting duplicate occurances is still unlikely, but with 2D10 you have a 10% chance of rolling an 11 and 1% of a 1 or 20.
 
The good news is that the really dangerous ones are out at the ends of that bell curve.
