Ah, well... It's been a while.
Finally I got to painting the lot, and started the process yesterday. No uniformity in livery, a pretty motley crew.

Thank you! The plan is to base the sword-and-shield crowd in units of six on 55X45 mm MDF.

As to the cannon - it is indeed an Old Glory piece!

I somehow got distracted by high-tech (for the 15th c., that is

) warfare equipment, and before I knew it - voila, the first artillery piece is kind of ready. I changed the crew mix in the process, replacing the guy with ramrod (or cleaning rod?). Perhaps I will add some cannon balls so that the base does not look too empty .

Hi again,
Yes, I realise I owe my sword-brandishing infantry a lot, and one day I will pay my dues, - I do solemly promise!
But I decided that I needed some reinforcements as represented by a unit of somewhat heavier cavalry. And - here it is! Again, Perry plastics as the basis with minor surgery.

It took some time, but I am happy with the outcome of this labor of love despite somewhat sloppy painting

Hi folks,
I figured it would be appropriate to field some heavy (and I mean heavy

) infantry. One good thing about the boys in shining armor is that they are rather easy to paint - at least, in my case: just slap some metal paint on, and you're good!

Oh, and I am still undecided regarding the flag, hence a simple brass rod.
