I haven’t read GoT so don’t know how they’re described in the books but they look the part to me and wouldn’t be out of place in the tv series. It’s a very effective kitbash and I really like them, but the anachronistic mix of parts also gives them a sort of “outfitted by the costume department” look that makes them look even more in place with the show.

Just binge watched that last (8th) series of GoT & your figures would IMHO
fit right in. Well done.

Absolutely super job on those, they really look the part. Great kitbashing and great painting  :-*

Thanks a lot! I am a great fan of your work Captain Blood so I really appreciate it!  :-*

I'm currently working on ten 15th century-inspired House Clegane men-at-arms (see a quick WIP pic below) as well as some rag tag-looking Brotherhood without banners adversaries for them. I'd like to find a good looking flaming sword in 28 mm - not too big(Warhammer-ish that is) but smaller so it'll work well with the Perry and LOTR ranges - any ideas? I'm going to use Aragorn from the "Hunters" kit as the base for my Beric Dondarrion, if that helps for scale.

I would just try your hand at sculpting with green stuff, I don't think most sculpted fire swords are particularly detailed.  I think making it look convincing is mostly in the paintjob, so if you're confident on that front, a quick youtube tutorial and a bit of green stuff would be more than convincing enough, I reckon.  :)

Great work on the Cleganes so far!

In terms of flaming swords, I think most of them are unfortunately heroic-scale rather than Perry sized. I remember a few years ago when I made a flaming sword for Stannis Baratheon I wrapped a normal Perry sword in tissue-paper soaked in PVA glue to get some sort of structure, and then built green-stuff around that, if that helps?

Good to see more people working on Westeros projects! Those are some very fine looking models. As for your question, there are a few versions of the Witch King from GW that have flaming swords if I remember correctly?
