Generic Command Stand. I had these mounted figures leftover, so put them together as a generic ward command group.

Scottish Wars of Independence - A Schiltron commanded by John de Forbes (Sheriff of Aberdeen). In 1378 a charter was granted to him and his wife Margaret by the Bishop of Moray for the lands of Fynrossie on the loch of Spynie. Forbes was described as wise and manly in his time.

Lovely unit again - what figures are they please?

Cheers I thought they were probably a mix including Antediluvian and Claymore, I've never seen either in the flesh so was keen to check

Scottish Wars of Independence - This Friday sees my good friend Ian (Westbury Wargammers) commanding the English army of Edward Longshanks on an incursion into Scotland. Whilst besieging Tantallon Castle, Edward is attacked by a Franco-Scottish Force lead by yours truly.

Can the Scots break the siege or will Longshanks prevail and “open the door” to Scotland?

Scottish Wars of Independence - The Siege of Tantallon Castle, east of North Berwick, in East Lothian, Scotland. Whilst a large English army lay siege to the castle, a combined Scottish and French force attempt to lift the siege through a direct assault on the English lines.
