Lemax Spookytown

I'm sure others have spoken about this before, but Lemax is a "village collection" available at Michaels. They have several themes, and one of them is Spooky Town. After Halloween, Michaels has the Spookytown collection marked down. Some of the material is really great for parts, like gargoyle statues and tombstones. Their other collections have some good trees, and other such things as well.

I've been picking up Leemax stuff for a few years now.  The foam injected terrain pieces tend to be pretty good.  Take a look at the Christmas stuff too.  A few years back I got some cars and trucks that were on scale with my 28mm pulp figures.

Unfortunately with it being a dedicated shop we're unlikely to see the after season sales the guys in the US/Canada/Oz etc all enjoy. I'm hoping they'll turn up in Asda at some point as they're part of Walmart.

Having said that, there are some gems in there at a reasonable price anyway. Streetlights, signs, gazebo etc are all reasonably priced and rather nice.

The ruber cobbled roads are a good deal too, I think I have a link at home for some cheap ones form a garden centre £1.49 for 2 strips

Just be careful with the lemax webstores. I ordered from a dutch store over a year ago - postage was a killer, and when my order finally arrived (I had to give notice), one piece was missing (not an expensive one, but still), and I've never heard from them since.

I was looking at the cobble stone roads as well. Does anybody know what they look like against a 28 mm figure?

The roads are 90mm wide. I use them as the path to my Playmobil Vikin Heorot! Very nice, and w a bit of paint, would be just fine for 28mm roads.
