28mm Falklands war figures
« on: February 16, 2022, 06:25:20 PM »
Looking for some Falklands war figures has anyone got any experience of the mofo brits, how do they compare size wise, i would prefer a less heroic size.
Are there other similar figures out there as i cant seem to find much googling.
Are there any ww2 airborne figures that could be converted if similar in size to the mofo miniatures, thinking of the warlord airborne figs plastic would seem easier to play with.
Should add i want them to accompany 1/56 scale vehicles
Thanks

If you wait a bit Empress Miniatures are bringing out some Falklands figures, but their BAOR troops are easy to convert.

The Empress moderns are tall, taller than their own Vietnam and WW2 ranges (different sculptor), taller than Eureka, MoFo and Mongrel. All of which I have.

Of course its a matter of degree and with a little attention to basing all can be sized up to roughly the same height. I have the MoFo Falklands range and they are nice figures. That said, I like the sculpting on the Empress ones more so I have decided to replace them once the new range comes out. I even debated getting out the saw and cutting my Argentine platoon in half to base them in slit trenches but I’ll wait and see what the Empress range has to offer.

They are. The MoFo range is owned by GB.
