Recommended source for 28mm WW2 American Tanker heads?
« on: February 17, 2022, 06:20:47 PM »
Does anyone have a recommendation on where I can source decent WW 2 American tanker heads, ie wearing tank helmets? Something more Warlord sized than Perry sized.

How about the Rubicon US tank crew?

I don't own these so I can't comment on their actual size compared to Perry or Warlord.

From my limited experience Rubicon are likely too small however you have got me thinking now of buying complete figures and taking their heads instead of trying to source separate heads.

Might be worth an ask if anyone got left over tank crew from model builds first in the bazar "wanted" section? Not everyone puts a crewman on their models and you may be lucky.

I just made a similar experiment with Rubicon Commonwealth tank figures and was very disappointed when I placed them on my Warlord Sherman - too tiny

Grumpy,
Empress not long ago added some US tank crew. Worth checking them out.
