Troops on Parade - WW1 Turkish Army
« on: February 22, 2022, 01:04:42 PM »

https://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.com/2022/02/troops-on-parade-28mm-ww1-turkish-army.html

A while back I posted up a Troops on Parade feature on my WW1 Mesopotamia British and Empire force so I thought it was about time I featured their opposition, the Turkish Army.

All 28mm and mostly from Woodbine Design Company (full details on blog post and Utubes video, link above), there are 8 Infantry Battalions, 2 Cavalry units and 4 Guns.

These see action at least once a year in our traditional Xmas Game where we recreate one of thr battles from the WW1 Mesopotamia Campaign.

Thanks for watching, Regards Ken

Lovely as always - the period is on my list but there are a lot of things to get done ahead of it!

Yes, lovely.  And this time viewing I found myself wondering just where in all those figures is the disguised Lawrence of Arabia?   ;)
