while I admire the fine art work, I've never been able to get part the edges when in comes to cut outs

are you planning to blacken them? That might make all the difference,  to me at least

Wonder if they could use black or grey acrylic instead?  Might make the edges less noticeable?

I'm not planning on doing the edges because I am basically lazy!

I use a brown brush pen to colour the edges makes a huge difference.
