Golgotha's Superheroes
« on: April 14, 2020, 05:10:57 PM »
Hi all

Here with HeroClix city streets game with my son. We were playing TMNT versus foot clan with some police and robber action thrown in too.

This sign is magnetic so I can change it.

A fun game.

Most of the buildings are by Fat Dragon Games available here: https://www.wargamevault.com/browse.php?keywords=city&manufacturers_id=346&x=0&y=0&author=&artist=&pfrom=&pto=

I mount the printed paper onto foam sheets so these buildings are light and durable.

The aim is to mount the roads onto vinyl floor tiles, which should make life easier and quicker in the future for terrain deployment. Not sure yet what to put on the other side of these tiles but could be effective way to have two potential tables in one system.

This city is very versatile and will be great for Pulp, Gangster, Car and other games and systems too. Also very cheap and quick way to build entire city scape.

See more on my blog, BMC Miniatures, which I also largely started today, here: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/

What a fun looking table.  Luckily you have a gaming partner at home.  :)

Thank you Syrinx0.

Herewith some more pics from a previous game so different city layout but with largely the same terrain pieces.

The airconditioning units are separate pieces. Note the clock tower - I am planning this to be the centrepiece of a park - allowing for some greenery. Also busy with a cemetery, perhaps Batman will make an appearance for that one. So more to follow.

TMNT arrive on the scene with Beatle vehicle.

The bad guys.

Herewith, a repaint of a toy motorbike ideal for my city streets, I think the original toy was from a Kinder egg.

Got a few of these and others. I am therefore thinking of doing a biker gang with biker gang bar.

The original toy.

The TNMT and a biker gang.  That should entertain.  :)

Thank you Syrinx0 and The Major.

Herewith, Superman and Batman Toy Miniature repaints. For superhero games I normally use Heroclix but since I had these two, which are slightly taller and therefore bigger than the average 28mm miniature, I thought I would repaint them. In parts, this was just a retouch as they were already coloured. I wanted to take pictures with suitable backdrops. So just experimenting and playing around a bit. Not sure where the Superman miniature is from but the batman came with a rather nice Batwing toy which I will be using.

Herewith, a Crooked Dice Miniature which they call the Claws of Shiva but it is clearly inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) Shredder (also known as Oroku Saki - his Japanese name). See: https://crooked-dice.co.uk/product/claws-of-shiva/

I wanted someone to be able to battle against the Heroclix TMNT. I ideally need to get some "normal" ninjas to serve as the Foot clan.

Crooked Dice do some lovely miniatures and they have fast, friendly and efficient service do give them a try.

really nice ! what printer did you use ? ink or laser ?

I also see some thugs I don't recognize : could you give me the references of the thugs/street bad guys you're using ? I plan to play some games with daredevil, punisher, blade, etc...and I need low level villains.

thank you !

ps : I also like heroclix, even if I play 1st version of it

Great looking table. It has just that cartoony vibe that fits with the subject matter 8)

... I am therefore thinking of doing a biker gang with biker gang bar...

And perhaps they're Mice? From Mars? ;)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...
