Heroclix Wolverine
« on: March 10, 2022, 03:05:44 PM »
I have no excuse for this, I don't play any games and have no other models .... I just like Wolverine. No doubt I'll be picking up various other Wolverine and Logan incarnations in future, but he is in what I think of as his classic X-Men outfit. Note liberal use of the lovely rust effect fluid from Great Escape Games. I have to say, awful as the original paint jobs are, the Heroclix models are beautifully sculpted.

'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

Some of the Heroclix miniatures are surprisingly good - that is certainly a huge improvement on the original paint job - and a lovely base to boot - well done.

nice figure !

the best result is obtained stripping the factory paint first : then you'll see how detailed are the figures.

Ah, I just sloshed over the top. Next time I'll do that, thanks.

Some of the older sculpts were made in a harder (but still somewaht bendy) plastic and have amazing detail under the paintjobs.

under the thick paint job you'll find many new details. Strip the paint and go !  lol
