Captain America vs. Red Skul for 20mm games, any ideas?
« on: March 11, 2022, 04:29:39 PM »
Hello,

for some 20mm games I need a Captain America + a Red Skul figure.
Can I get them some where? If not, I have to make them some how by myself.

How big are heroclix? If they were the right size you could rebase and repaint them. I’ll see if I can find out.

Red Skull should be easy - just put a skull on the rights sort of figure.

This might send you down the right rabbit hole - see: https://20mmish.wordpress.com/tag/superheroes/

My brother used to have some and they are damn near to 1/72.

Hello,

the heroclix are 28mm, to big for airfix. The battle cube marvells are good for scale, but hard to get. Are there some 20mm "Tin Heroes"?

Try Elheim miniatures? They do some pulpy figures and may have something

I have used some Zerboz figures for my WWII supers. They were sold in little spheres, but I haven't seen them in a while.
I did some GS modifications to them, but that's not hard at that scale.

I have some pictures from a game here if interested (to see sizes):

Apparently the the out-of-production "Marvel Battle Dice" were also 1/72ish, but I don't have any of those. They did include at least a Captain America though.
