Lee/Grant walker tank
« on: April 01, 2022, 08:17:51 AM »
Anyone making a Lee or Grant type walker  I was thinking of doing a "Sahara" movie type game set in the weird war world.  An international collection of heroes defending a Oasis from hoards of Dehydrated Zombie Germans.

Any thoughts?

If you can look at 15mm scale there is a Stuart based walker in the Gear Krieg line that would be a pretty simple conversion with a 15mm Lee/Grant model. Swap turrets and inset the hull 75 mounting infront of one of the legs.

Would make for a unique looking mecha.

Your best bet is to kit bash.

I did make some legs that would be able to attach to the side of a tank hull

And a full set with a Chassis.  Most tanks could just fit on top if you leave off the tracks and make a slot for it

I've also recreated most of teh Gear Krieg walker line officially in 1/56 (in their shop). though I may be able to start selling the printed kits very soon.

An M3 Lee walker/hover tank is actually something on my to do list for another client.
