Frostgrave french campaign tales
« on: April 14, 2022, 08:19:10 AM »
Hello,

I've played Frostgrave for a while now. We had a first attempt at playing in campaign but were stopped by covid. We tried again in september for a nine month campaign based on three little campaigns, published in the same book (the compendium) in french.

We are more or less 10 players and are playing every month. I'm taling those games in my blog to keep track of it.

I'll put here some of the numerous pictures we take during games. I hope that won't be too many pictures in one message. If you want to see more, I'll drop a link to the first and last article at this date. Tales are wrote in french, what a good reason to learn our beautiful and simple language  ;)

Chapter 1
, scenario 1

Three tables at the same time !

Chapter 1 scenario 2

Chapter 1 scenario 3

Chapter 2 scenario 1

Chapter 2 scenario 2

Chapter 2 scenario 3

And that's all for now, 6 games played, 3 more to go. I'll share them here of course. If you have any question or thoughts, please fell free to share here !

The cardboard buildings look amazing!

don't they look good?! I notice some Battlesystems, some Dave Graffam and others ... They mesh well with the more 3d buildings

Thank you guys !

You have indeed various sources for the terrains. You recognize some Dave Graffam pdf papercrafts taht our president made for a whole table. Then he bought some Battle systems for himself. I prefer printing in 3D, so you can see ruins in PLA (I still need to print more), some bought terrain pieces (the houses with "red" roofs) and some crafted ones.

We usually keep things separated beetween flat and 3D but for our last game we decided to mix a bit of everything, just keeping things in a specific corner to represent districts. That worked pretty well.

Interesting! I have wondered how well Battle Systems cardstock terrain would mix with 3d terrain pieces. Looks better than I was expecting. Some brilliantly painted minis on display as well!
