Raid On Innsmouth

Helped my buddy Ralph playtest his 'Raid on Innsmouth' participation game during the week.  Great fun!  Hopefully this game will be at a few SW Ontario conventions this year.

As Roxette would say - "La la la la la, they've got the look!"

That looks like a big bag of fun.

Table looks great and of course The Raid on Innsmouth is a scenario that most Mythos players aspire to. I'm working on some Deep Ones myself as I continue to add to my forces no matter if I ever get to play it out or not. What rule set are you using? Hopefully we get to see some more when the game is finally played and thanks for sharing.

We were using Fear & Faith by Ganesha Games, with some modifications.  They worked well and were easy to pick up, ideal for convention play.

Thanks S.M., will have a look at them. Currently fooling around with Strange Aeons, while there's a lot I like about it am not sure if it will work for what I have in mind. Giving it the benefit of the doubt and trying it out before I start modifying anything but also doesn't hurt to check out other rule sets while doing so.

Thanks to Sterling Moose for his invaluable help. After a while you lose your objectivity on the value of your scenario. After a few insightful tweaks the game proceeded better than I had hoped.

A few more pictures from my collection. The clear figures are "ghosts". The soldiers, police and government agents cannot recognize who the townsfolk are in the thick fog. Once you get close enough, you can recognize them for what they are, regular townsfolk, belligerent townsfolk, or dastardly hybrid townsfolk. And the results are somewhat randomized, so the active player never knows what they may be facing.

And thanks for the kind comments.

That’s a brilliant idea using the clear figures to represent people in the fog  8)
