[Gaslands] Micro-Machine Scale People?
« on: April 19, 2022, 06:56:43 AM »
Do you guys have any opinion on which scale figures work better with Micromachine cars, 6mm or 10mm?  I've got a need for punks hanging out in the back of a truck, and the best I can do is Bush War in 10mm from Irregular.  Before I pull the trigger on an order, I figured it was worth asking the LAF hive mind.

They are "Fits in the Box Scale".  Generally a bit larger than N scale, so 10–12mm should be a safe bet.

Thank you.

My 10 mm figures look great on the ground next to the cars, but they're inappropriate for the period.  Irregular makes some very nice African bush wars figures that will work a treat. Does anyone know of a company that makes post-apocalyptic figures in this scale?

Hmm, don't think I've seen post-apoc in 10mm.  Punks may require some Fantasy figure conversions.

For other more genericky types, Pendraken's Spanish Civil War and Vietnamese figures should have some promise.

Good call.  The Vietnam range was a little too identifiable for my tastes, but the Spanish Civil War could work.  I'll check them out.

I’ve had some success with Dark Alliance ‘stalkers’ range, 1/72 plastics so pretty cheap. Some fit better than others depending on the size of the vehicle but can’t go wrong for the price!
