Looks great Nick!

Which version of DBA are you going to use? 3.0 (the hardback)?

Hardback? I didn't know there was one. I just got the V.3 from Caliver Books, A4 Purple cover.

I played V.1 so much I think I can play without referring to a rulebook, but I bought the latest just see what had changed.

I need to think about a camp next, what do people think? A cattle herd?

Same book, but mine's hardback. Usually end up playing 1.1 though as I know it much better.

Can't go wrong with some stolen livestock for a camp. I've been looking for a Heorot-style hall (maybe 3D printed), but no joy so far.

A fun idea for the camp could be a guy kneeling beside a tree, digging a hole - hiding the Staffordshire Hoard  :)

Nice idea, that was found 1 mile away from my in-laws house, personal connection.

Nice! I've sat down this afternoon and converted a Wiglaf javelinman into a kneeling guy holding a helmet and bag (a small Frostgrave one). If I don't turn the painting into a calamity I'll post here when he's done. Will look good next to a small hole he's dug....

Wow! Just, wow. Was he involved in the finding?

No Not at all. The first they knew about it was when the whole area was cordoned off, and huge embankments thrown up around it like a Roman camp so you could see in.

;D That sounds fun. Anyway, I envy you a little of doing a walk around „that“ certain position. I guess it’s at least a nice view.
B2topic: I second a camp of the guys making the offering!

Shieldwall clash.
They look pretty good.

The army 'might' have it's first outing on Thursday, trying out Age of Penda.

Wow. The mass effect is pretty good. It does look like a good-sized crumping!

My DBA army teamed up with james Morris' collection to play Age of Penda the other night. Age of Penda is a game by Dan Mersey, owner of Wiglaf Miniatures. It was nice & fast, we got 2 enjoyable games done in 1 1/2 hours.

Shame Eyre is a Norman name. My mother had a Saxon name, Sutcliffe, but I don't want to talk about that....
