I am very pleased and surprised to have made it into the final, but I think my entry has now met it's match. Aircav, the scale and detail of your entry, as well as the quality of the brushwork, are so impressive. Great work.

Both superb pieces but my favourite is the Voordolak piece.
It has so much character and atmosphere to it and reminds me of the old white dwarf space hulk diorama as well. I really like how the stairs are given shape through light when seeing them on an angle, there is nothing to them at all!

Thank you Bearwoodman, that’s ver kind of you to say such nice things, no one is more shocked than me how well I’ve done. I absolutely love your entry (at first when you started it had me confused as to how you were constructing it, but that’s me just been dopey

) you thought about storage from the start (I’m still not sure wher I will be keeping mine

) your build fits perfectly into your background & it’s just so atmospheric, and your fantastic painting has emphasised this. Fantastic job

Congrats to both Bearwoodman and Aircav, both entries were stunning

Only one can take away the legendary* Potato Cup in 2022, however, and that is Aircav!

*it is - it's in fact a mythological entity.
