Just how many Mad Mullahs were there?

My favourite 'Mad Mullah' is Mohammed Abdullah Hassan, the Somali religious leader. I've always leaned a bit more towards the African side of things than the NWF (though I know the NWF is super-popular with LAFers). This fella gave the Brits the runaround for about twenty years and they never caught him. Not a bad feat.
